The particular language might not be important. Roll your own. One of the references I gave was fundamentals of language. It seems that there are people who do it for a hobby. Maybe if everyone had to design their own language and teach it to at least one other person as a child, then they would learn how to communicate.

See Suzette Hayden Elgin - Native Tongue.

I will see if I can find the thread reference.

I recall two especially good songs but consistently have difficulty finding anything but trash. Well that was not a fair statement, but I am not able to find many songs which I remember, and the lyrics of the ones I do find are different.

Simon and Garfunkel - I am a rock, I am an island

???? - You light up my life

The miserable lack of communication between men and women is worst of all.

Here goes nothing yet again :

"I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden."
Along with the sunshine, there's got to be a little rain sometimes.
So if you take you've got to give so live and let live,
...............
"I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden."

Women have their pride too.

Well wonder of wonders, I was able to look at the dictionary without a crash! I found that there are 1036 *isms, far more than I expected. What I like does not really matter. Do your own things. Then one of these days I am out of here....

In the meantime, can I work for somebody ? I am willing to work as a consultant, not as a direct employee. The payoff can be anything mutually acceptable so long as I have full living expenses.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the
human mind to correlate all of its contents. We live on a placid
island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was
not meant that we should go far. -- HP Lovecraft, "The Call of Cthulhu"
