Re: Ship Making
No, there is no way to build multiple ships in the one turn with the same yard. This is one of the distinguishing differences between ships and units. Try to maximise the ships construction by designing it to be comprised of materials equal to a multiple of the yard rate.
eg if your ship costs 6700 resources and the yard rate is 2200 than try to cut out something to make it take only 3 turns or add something to make the 4 turns worthwhile, if you can afford it.

Re: Ship Making
Or, just build a set of bases with SYs on them.
With 10 SY bases, you can pump out ten ships at a time.

Re: Ship Making
Each vehicle or planet only gets one build queue, and non-units can only be built one at a time in a queue.
If you mod in multiple spaceyards per object, then the build rates add together to make one very fast queue.

Re: Ship Making
You can build ships faster by constructing a cheaper design that takes less time to make, and then retrofit it to the final design. It's more expensive to do it this way but it's faster.
