Turned off BattleFX and got a bit farther into the game then usual,But it crapped out after my Hind-D fired a couple times.

Is there a way to get the exact model of my card? Because I dont see any drivers on the Creative Labs website that seem to address this card.

Use DxDiag utility: 'Start' - 'Run' - "dxdiag" .. save all info as text file, attach it here in the forum

It will not only give the driver version, but some vendor and item id, which may let us identifiy the card.

Is it by chance some sort of on-board sound card?

Sadly, Creative is a bit lax when it comes to PCI device numbering.
Judging from the PCD device ID, it could be either
a) an Ensoniq Card
b) Creative Onboard Sound, using Ensoniq Chip
c) Creative Soundcard AudioPCI
d) Creative Soundcard PCI
e) Creatove Soundcard PCI64 or PCI128
f) above soundcard, mounted on-board
As all of b-f seemingly use the same Ensoniq chip, the driver I linked below should work ..

Try the very first driver from here:
