Default Just one more Newbie Question....

Victory Conditions. I've been through the manual, but best I can find on it is the Standard victory seem to say you have to wipe out all the other pretenders. Fair enough, but I'd like to understand all the victory requirements for all the different options. Any help?

The only other kind that is generally used is Victory Points. Victory points are placed on provinces around the map, and when someone owns the number of them set as the winning condition, they win.

Or victory by provinces, which can be good for large map games : if there are 350 provinces, 275 might be set as the victory condition so that if one player owns over 3/4 the map, they're the winner. I've been in a couple games like that.

There's also victory by research or dominion, but I don't think I've ever seen them used.
