The demo was deleted before i reinstalled my OS along with a registry cleaner "CheckMyPC" etc. I have tried running Window, expanded & full with different settings. When i got up this morning i gave it another shot and actually made it through the first scenario of an English Campaign...I will try your suggestionof re-installing and then start without any changes to the options etc. Thanks for your help, i will take a methodical approach and report back and if it is truly a unique problem then there is hope in tracking it down
