				 Re: faerun
Alas, while valiantly trying to protect the homesteads of the Jotun heartland, the Green Dragon of Soapyfrog has succumbed to one of Abysia's vile and fiendish constructs. He equips his Golems with hellsword, skullcap, marble armour, boots of quickness, ring of the warrior and burning pearl. Then the golem casts astral weapon, making the hellsword armour-negating. Dangerous, and teleportable! Also, non-routable due to the Hellsword.
The thing is not resistant to cold or shock obviously, and as has been pointed out magic duel may kill it. Masses of undead would also do the trick...

I think golems have a 50 morale anyways. They arn't magic beings, unless zens mod changed this. Thats a tough SC to counter |

 Golems never route.
 Golems are not magical beings.

Bad thing about golems is their crappy attack rating is base 8 so you need to put a burning pearl and ring of the warrior on them.

				 Re: faerun
Guys. A strange things happend. A seeking arrow did about 32 damages ( 15hp + 17armor ). In normal games it does about 5-15 damages (not ap or an). P.S. And one more. If arrow kills someone the message has a icon of question symbol (?). During this situation the message has a icon of Pythium's flag.
It's very sad thing. This hero was the last hope for a future war.

				 Re: faerun
Golems will still route if not berserk if they happen to be in the company of other troops/leaders who all die/route. I think....
Dian, a seeking arrow can do a lot of damage in Dom2 (any weapon can) if they are lucky since the damage rolls are open-ended. (er... I think... ) |

				 Re: faerun
I thought that I've seen (non bersker) golems continue to fight after other troops died. Same with gift of reason'd gargoyles and crushers.

Although the routing stuff doesn't always seem to play by the rules... so who knows?

Yeah non berserk golems will not route. Jurri has used them against me armed with blood thorns in Invis Swarm. I will destroy the entire army and it will say Ryleh has routed but the golem stays to fight the entire time. |
