Re: I can\'t remember if I\'ve asked this...
Well the only Windows I have right now is a set of backup CD's which will erase the entire hard drive anyway... so why bother deleting Linux and putting it back on?

Don't worry, Microsoft's new RG version is out. I've attached a demo copy!

LOL, I've seen that one before... only it was a flash on a site, not a download...

Re: I can\'t remember if I\'ve asked this...
Do you think it would be OK to say what version of DirectX SE5 will be using? Because if it's 9, then (surprisingly enough) it might actually work better than older versions (since Starfury didn't work, but now it seems that DX9 will be supported in Wine soon)...

Re: I can\'t remember if I\'ve asked this...
Well, I've got some encouraging news from Malfador:
Quote:
Starfury requires DirectX 7 and SE5 requires DirectX 8. Let's hope it works!

If I'm not mistaken, DX8 is already fairly well supported in Wine; the reason Starfury doesn't work must be because it uses DX7.
Oh, and it looks like I'm not the ONLY person who calls it "SE5" instead of "SEV"
