Re: PBEM game: The first step (Open)
I am storming one of Man's last 2 castles. I had to go for it since it was right on my border. Other than that, my gem income is just terrible. I can't find a site for the life of me. I may have to sacrifice my prophet or something to get the heavens to open up and shower me with revelations on where all magic sites are in my kingdom.

Re: PBEM game: The first step (Open)
Turn 42
The province tally is: Ermor 47, Pangaea 27, Marignon 22, Machaka 20, Jotunheim 16, Arcosephale 6, Man 1, and Pythium 0. The fort tally is: Machaka 4, Ermor 4, Marignon 4, Pangaea 4, Jotunheim 2, Pythium 1, Man 1, and Arcosephale 1. Gem income increased for Ermor, Marignon, and Pangaea and decreased for Pythium, Man, and Arco. Marignon rehired Obscuro. Dagan the Sage is open for bidding.

Turn 42
Carion Lord gets in the hall of fame after only one fight.
I find a temple to some god in my dominion, but can't raze it. At least it gives me gems.
I lost two beloved mound kings.
I'm waiting for a national hero to show up.

You can't raze it because it is yours! Your God is stronger than that other random God to whom it was erected. Thus, once captured, it will spread dominion just like any other temple you own.

Yes, obviously that once-was deity has turned to worship you, thus demonstrating to all your superior claim to divinity!

Re: PBEM game: The first step (Open)
But if I am the one true god (he definitely is not), why wouldn't that temple follow my pathos? Maybe because MY divinity is so much stronger than his he can't raze it, but my generosity allows him to "use" it for his purposes. Now that sounds more like it.
