The dates that you ask for are difficult to find. But I will, for it is you who asked of the auto-loaders. And many other things concerning Soviets. I will find you what you ask. Which dates, by the way?

Sewter,

You seem to have most of the dates for the different versions of the Hellfire ATGM.

The dates needed would be those for the different versions of the Maveric. If you can find those that would be just great!

It is I. Here is to aid you, my Russian friend!

AGM-65A: 1972
AGM-65B: 1975 Better optics for greater magnification.
AGM-65C: No Service Record Laser guided.
AGM-65D: 1983
AGM-65E: 1985
AGM-65F: 1989
AGM-65G: 1990
AGM-65H: 1996
AGM-65J: 1996
AGM-65K: 1996

More Info:

Proposals were made for developing an extended range 'Longhorn' version of the AGM-65F with a turbofan engine and a range of about 75 km. The 'Longhorn' Maverick was proposed as a possible contender for the USAF Silent HARd Kill (SHARK) programme, for use against non-emitting ground radars.

Trial firings of AGM-65E missiles from an AH-1W Cobra helicopter in 1990 have demonstrated the feasibility for Maverick's use on helicopters and a four-missile fit has been proposed for the AH-64 Apache. The AGM-65 has most recently been integrated on New Zealand's SH-2G(NZ) Super Seasprites. Different US services have sponsored the various marks of Maverick, the US Air Force being responsible for the AGM-65A/B/D/G/H/K, the US Marine Corps for the AGM-65E/J and the US Navy for the AGM-65F. AGM-65 missiles have been cleared for carriage on F-4 Phantom, F-5 Tiger, F-15E Eagle, F-16 Fighting Falcon, F/A-18 Hornet, A-4 Skyhawk, A-6 Intruder, A-7 Corsair, Hawk, P-3 Orion, AV-8B Harrier II/Plus, Harrier GR Mk 7, A-10 Thunderbolt II, AJ 37 Viggen, JAS 39 Gripen, L-159 LCA and Hunter aircraft, and the SH-2G Seasprite helicopters. (Janes Information Group)

May you use it wisely.

Our Army Technical Magasine recently also brought a message AGM-65 was tested for use with the Iranian upgraded Cobra. However, there was no version spec... From wathching the dates of introduction... Most likely AGM-65A/B?

I am not sure which it would be. I would agree with your wise suspections on the earlier model Mavs. However, if the Iranians still have operational Maverick missiles, they would still need the hardware to upgrade their aging Cobra fleet. As they are most likely delegating with Pakistan and China for upgrading their arms, it is possible. Your Army Technical Magazine sounds impressive.
