there are alot of good programs that were written a while back. the component, formation, Tech Queue, and other editing tools. A kind soul sent me copies of them recently, but I have not seen their creators on this board in a long time. anyone know how to reach them?

Just had to put my two cents in. Maybe Richard has already covered this, but don't forget to include a text file with your post giving us your credit info. This should include Name, elements, and Website address if you have one that you want us to include.
We are thinking of updating the manual and including the credits info there also.
I've been thinking of making a revised "edition" of the manual for techmod detailing what I changed and perhaps improving some areas (err, assuming I can do a better job, which remains to be seen )
Any problem with me doing that, and including the revised Version with my mod?

Just in case anyone reading this thread is still unclear, Richard clarified in a recent e-mail that they do not want any copyrighted material included on any mods placed on the SE4 CD. To that end, we (the TDM-Modpack crew) are currently planning to include a Version for the CD (with certain components removed or modified of course). Most of us already have upgraded files ready for compilation/testing but are holding off until the 1.42 patch comes out so that we can ensure compatibility.
