Re: calling all players
Surprise surprise, the server was DOWN again. This time, it was the biggest storm of this autumn. No electricity... It should be up again, as you can decipher from this post appearing on the forum the electiricy came back. Some poor workers must have had a long night.
Even with that, if nothing else happens I'm afraid I'm going to host the game soon, this evening or tomorrow morning.

Re: calling all players
Damn blackdowns! There was a few-second moment of no electricity this morning after that post, and the computers of course shut down. I restarted the server, and Dominions, but if more moments of darkness happened, or if the firewall prompts Dominions again ("Have you updated this application since the last time you used it?" and something), it mightn't work.
If the server doesn't work today, and I'm not even able to test it until I get home in maybe 6-7 hours, I can't really host. With the server down Saturday-to-Monday, and with no chance for CuriousCat to play his turn today, it would be rather heavy-handed.

Re: calling all players
Seems like it is not working at the moment, perhaps you should handle out turn by email and we may PBEM while the server is unstable.

Re: calling all players
I'd be happy to PBEM if necessary. I just need the turn file. Endoperez should still have my email address. I tried to send him an email but it bounced.

Re: calling all players
I sent the file, the server might be up, and I probably gave you wrong e-mail address. At least the storm that wrecked the electricity (trees fell on lines) wasn't my fault... I just wished for winter to finally come.
EDIT: I received PM from CuriousCat. The next turn should be up on tommorrow morning (around 06:00 GMT +2). Sorry for the delay, but at least the backline didn't move anymore.
---------------------
I did wish for winter to come sooner, and for some reason, the snow came right after the big storm... I wonder if something heard my mumblings, and for some reason, a sudden chill makes me shiver...

Re: calling all players
Ok. I managed to get into the server and played my turn, but I guess we're not quickhosting so there's still no new turn.

Re: calling all players
Sorry, I hosted it and set Quickhost to the shortcut so that I can't forget it again.
