There aren't really any; to hate a band but not its music I'd have to actually pay attention to the people who composed the band...and I really just don't care.

The most I've done (and most likely will ever do) is sing to myself in private...but I think the voices like it

Aren't any. But the closest I can think of:
"Highwayman" - The Highwaymen
"Gravity" - Our Lady Peace
Those are the only two I can think of that are very good throughout.

I've only been around for the late 80's, 90's and the beginning of this decade, so from my experience I'd say the late 90's into early 00's was best from my point of view. Say from '98 to '03, with some exceptions of course. Most current music that I listen to (rock mostly) sucks horribly. It's not even rock, it's some bastardized crap.

Worn out means used so much that accumulated damage from even normal use makes it now unusable. In the case of a CD, it has become scratched and scuffed to the point where a CD player can no longer read the data off of it.

I have never come close to wearing out a CD. All of my music is stored on PC and played from copies in CD players/stereos/etc. CDs are already a fickle enough medium to add extra worries about being forced to buy replacement CDs. Thank Xintis for fair use rights legislation!
