Re: Wish Questions
instead of a doom horror, try a vastness. Similar to doom horror, but without the bad luck.

Re: Wish Questions
It's Astral magic is a weakness! The Astral 2 Vastness gets when it is Gift of Reasoned is so low that even a lucky Sage can kill it. There isn't much benefit from the magic either, because the Vastness is already comparable to raw power (read: Doom Horrors).
However, one of the few spesific things we know about Dominions III is:

* New doom horror: Maker of Ruins

unique Doom Horrors!

Re: Wish Questions
You might find some use to something like wish for armageddon. It should wreak some havoc everywhere, so if you are in a better shape to live through it, why not?
I was thinking about wishing for that in one game (hiya Panther), and I heard it has been used to good effect in the past.

Re: Wish Questions
wishing for armagedon will wreak havoc on the biggest armies in games, since it destroys a %of all things in the world (can be quite useful if ermor is at your doorstep even though they get them back for free) wishing for dominion can also be useful as can blood slaves (250 slaves for 100 gems yes please)

Re: Wish Questions
Can it kill regardless of HPs? I thought it did a range of damage to units, say 1-20 to all affected, thus killing many, but not killing anything of sufficient HPs.

If you want to see what wishing for population does, you can see my AAR ( Post#395511) turn 146+.
Short form: If you do, you will regret it.
