Hot-Seat - who has played/Experiences

I used to play hotseat games all the time with a good friend of mine. I never won (we never really finished) but it was always due to a poor starting location. I almost always started either right next to the computer player or bottled in by a neutral. The one time it looked like I had a chance to win he ordered the computer to surrender and it did... He got allot of tech and beat me into the ground. Oh well, I will still miss it now that he is in the navy...

Just about Every game I did during beta was hotseat. I prefer hot seat because it develops faster than PBW and I am a control freak when it comes to battles. Strategic combat just doesnt satisfy my meglomania.

I still do hotseat games with about 4-5 players on saturday nites
