Re: calling all players
Ouch! Even with a sucking Chest Wound (from the seeking arrow I cleverly slung his way ), Sudenhuuto was brutal. 80% of my army, and most of my field commanders just perished - C'tis, it's up to you now.

Re: calling all players
It's not that bad, surely. You got my 121% Heroic Quickness, Water-9 blessed Prophet before I could give him any equipment! I had scripted him very strangely, because he advanced on his own in the beginning, with half his normal hits, but still...
Besides, in the whole Giant army there are about two healthy Jotuns. I had supply problems versus Ulm, and it shows. Changing tactics could work much better - surely you've noticed that there is just single, though very heavily defended, independent province between our lands... With the Tuatha theme, you could have just sneaked past! THAT would've been brutal.
And that Seeking Arrow really found its target. It's lucky I had had my prophet and pretender there, and had built a temple nearby, because even mighty Sudenhuuto was down to under 30 hits in high Ulmish dominion... And in the warmth, his protection was merely 9. You know, just the information about that could have killed my pretender - few Seeking Arrows are unexpected when you're battling Ulm. It's information war in Dominions, as well!
I can't attack you with my weakened army and pretender, so you better come up with more tricks! However - in the memory of lighning-fast Jotun Scout who never got to really fight... The snow shall be red, the Tower shall crumble, and the Forest shall wither into Iron Woods, where the Great Witch eternally tortures the souls of Men, and their otherworly Masters!
(the cost of Misfortune - not a chance of getting Angerboda).

Re: calling all players
Didn't need healthy giants - I only killed what - 1 of your sickly ones?
For once the AI did intelligent spell targetting, and of course your Sudenhuuto was the one it did it for. Having all those Falling Frosts nailing my archers and sacred troops from the get go, instead of it clearing out the (fairly sizeable) mass of chaff I had up front, really ruined my day.
And your pretender had over 90 HPs in that battle, not that it mattered.
New Turn.

Re: calling all players
New turn is up... And I'm really starting to suspect that last Norna really knows what she is doing.
First, Angerboda makes her entrance.
Now, I randomly attack a province... the turn a Fortified City appears in there.

Re: calling all players
Earlier, I had a corrupted turn. Now, there is another. However, I already downloaded the .trn earlier, and it worked fine... Something must have corrupted the turn. Server is down while I check the computer for viruses, and I'll probably have the disk management programs check it for data corruptions as well. I don't know what 'eheyttäminen' is in English, but it is a very slow process that goes through the whole hard drive and does something mysterious to it.
As I'm not going to wait next to the computer to see when, exactly, it will be done with checking for viruses, and then again for many hours waiting for the eheyttäminen to be completed, we'll have a Christmas break. The next hosting will be on Monday (= early Tuesday in Europe).
Merry Christmas! Unfortunately, Sudenhuuto hold the Winter Festival earlier, during the Winter, and in the memory of Ulm. So no gifts to wait for. However, at least all of his friends won't have to be hungry during this difficult season.

Re: calling all players
As you say nothing about your own Dominions cd/cd-key, I think you mean you won't be able to play during the Christmas holidays, but can play once it's over.
Or is this a case of acute lack of Dominions?
Could you PM or e-mail to me? I'd like to get some details, mainly about the time this will take.
Also, I'd like to know how much information the other team traded between each other. I can try playing two nations at once, but that offers me too much information when compared to others. I'd much rather someone else would play Folket's turns... and Shovah would need the least amount of preparation and information regarding the game and what's going on in and around the Middle Earth of this game. Of course, if he has some insider-information, we have to come up with something else.
