It would be nice to have a log but with most games only lasting a hour or so at best, is it really needed? But then again, there are sometimes funny situations that are worthy of screenshots...

My thinking was that I'd like for a text log of your voyage to be attached to the high-score table, so that you could click something to review how it was that you got that great score (or the tragic events that prevented it from being that little bit better

Including the contents of your ships on return, and such forth.
