Version Help - Mod question

I was hoping to catch the eye of the developers by posting here. I am a developer myself. The answers I have about the game could only really come from the source.

I say this because there is no real FAQ about the game engine out there. There are some FAQ's but I figured out their content just by playing with the super pirate mod.

I'm the programmer on WW and SAIS. If you have mod questions I'd recommend the ISF forum Shadowcat linked as it has a mod section for SAIS.

You can download patches for SAIS at http://digital-eel.com/sais/ . I think most SAIS mods are made to work with SAIS v1.5 as it's the last official version.
