Under those circumstances, the atmosphere conVersion plant does nothing; it just sits there occupying space. Building it is a complete waste of resources.

Just one of the various tradeoffs you make when selecting no-atmosphere.

does the computer AI ever run into the problem of using them on gas giants when they breath "none" for that matter does the computer ever use the converters?

We may find out about the no-atmosphere converters on gas giants. I did not have the Rage use converters for this reason, but I have wired the Vandron to use them. Once we test the Vandron to the point that they have converter tech, we'll see what they do with them. (We may not want to know
