He has pretty much the regular human stats and he is mortal so I would vote that the Great Warlock is ok. Additionally, Ulm's Master Alchemist and the Pythium Divine Emperor are also fine.

I have a question tho: Is the C'tis Serpent Lord or Mict Smoking Mirror acceptable? They have human stats but apparently can shapechange if wounded?

Hmm.... Its a really close call but I suppose I wouldnt. Plus it wouldnt be fair to force all the other nations to pick strictly human pretenders and then let Man/Ctis/Mict pick pretenders that were tougher. Ok, so lets say no to all the almost-human shapechanger types.

Smoking Mirror definately wouldn't be "human" - 20 point paths, and I guess I'd agree that the shapechangers should be out. Abysia and Jotunheim, well, I think we all know what pretender they'll take

but they are human, at least for that race. Hmm. I don't much like the point cost for those two though - should be at least 10 or 20 points higher, imo (Elder Skratti : 42 HPs, immune to cold, a magic path for 45 points, Abysia's Great Warlock 23 HPs, immune to fire, radiates heat, 2 starting magic paths, 2 dominion, 35 points).

man, everyone in abysia radiates heat. It would be death to not at least be immune.

anyway, yeah, dragons have human forms too, and they sure as heck aint human.

the skratti shouldn't be allowed. he's not human...
probably true for the warlock as well, though he doesn't really bother me, except for his starting dominin

humans are human. path cost 10, starting dominion 1, hps in the lower 20's max...

Not quite, unless you're saying that Pythium's Divine Emperor isn't human - starting dominion 3. 10 point paths should be the main determining factor, although the shapeshifters might be eliminated, and possibly the skratti simply because his point cost is screwed (plus, unlike Abysia, Jotuns can take the Rime Mariner for cold immunity).

Yeah I vote against the Skratti as well. For the same reason as the shapechangers, really. While the case could be made that the Skratti is just another citizen of the jotunhiem empire its still not fair to the other nations playing since they are restricted to only humans. If you are desperate for cold resistance there is always the Rime Mariner.
