Default A (very small) error in the US OOB?

I spotted what seems like a possible error in the US OOB - when buying units with the scenario editor, if the timeframe is set to 2006, there is the option to select a mighty M1A2 with a 120mm M256 07 gun (screenshot attached)...

Using the Mobyhack OOB editor, I've found that in the unit slot 317, there is this version of the M1A2 with the 120mm M256 07 gun, and it is available from January 2006 up to December 2020.

Taking the M1A2 SEP as a guide, it seems that the M1A2 with the 120mm M256 07 gun should be available from August 2008 up to December 2020.

Is this a correct assumption?

Most respectfully,

Fabio

Default Re: A (very small) error in the US OOB?

Well either the unit 318 SEP's too late or the unit 317 M1A2's too early. The 03 gun is available earlier than 2003 in the game so it's quite possible the date for the M1A2 SEP is a bit too late.
I'll put this on the to-do list for V3 and if you find any hard info in the meantine let us know

Don

Thanks, Don!

The info I have about the Abrams 120mm DU ammo is as follows:
1. M829 - entered in service in 1985;
2. M829A1 - entered in service in 1991;
3. M829A2 - entered in service in 1994;
4. M829A3 - entered in service in 2003.

But I'll look further into this. If I find any additional reliable data about it I'll post it here.

A Happy New Year to you, Andy and all SPCAMO folks!

Fabio
