Fire-9 bless needs rebalancing !

imagine how screwed you would be if you gave your god 4 fire, 4 water, say, and then your god died on turn 2, when you were going for a bless strategy early game. no more bless for you!

It would be MUCH worse if your Fire 9 pretender died, and your sacred units would lose their flaming weapons. Also, it would make boosters even more powerful than they are now.

As Arralen said, it's much better this way than if changing magic levels affected blessing.

I was reading through the old threads looking for some info, and what cas said...I thought it only mattered upon creation. You could go down from F9 to F1 and still get flaming weapons.
