Yes, don't underestimate Ermor BE just yet... and remember a prophetized Thaummaturg can reanimate Longdead Horsemen, a unit that usually doesn't come online until early-mid game. Oh, and javelins are good.

They do eat about 10 population per ghoul when they're created.
