Re: ADD percentage.
I once spent several minutes staring at that avatar until I finally snapped out of it and forced myself to look away.

Re: ADD percentage.
I used to have an animated avatar, back in 1923. 'Course, we had to call them "faces" back then on account of computers not having been invented yet. Anyway, this was about the time I was elected president of the African National Congress - or was it the Lower Throop Pigeon Fanciers' Association? I don't rightly recall - it was about the time I was dating Nobel Prize winner Chief Albert Luthuli's sister, so it must have been the pigeon fanciers. She did love her pigeons, that girl. One time she and I were out fishing for pigeons - that was what we called it back then, on account of fish not having been invented yet. This was back in the 1870's you understand, just after World War II - not the World War II you're thinking of though, but the other one, the one with all the grapefruit - or was the the Third World War II? Anyway, rationing was still in effect, except for grapefruit of course, but on account of grapefruit not having been invented yet, everyone was mighty hungry. That was where I acquired the taste for human flesh, but of course in those days- this was back in the sixteenth century, you see- in those days no-one really minded on account of all the monkeys. They'd be running around in the trees with all the particle accellerators - particle accellerators being what we called chimpanzees back in the fourteen hundreds, caused a hell of a hooha later on in the ice age when they invented those other particle...

Re: ADD percentage.
Well, it was approximatively 12:55 for him when he posted (definitively past noon in any case). I suspect most of the world would disagree with your assessment that noon is sometime during the night.
Of course, his post was supposed to be confused, and confusing. In fact, my initial reaction to it was "flabbergasting"... or perhaps it was "flopaunihilification". Bah, I can't even begin to spell it.

Re: ADD percentage.
My daughter asked what a solar eclipes was after seeing it in a cartoon. After explaining that was what happens when the sun moves behind the moon, I then explained that a lunar eclipse was when the earth moves between the moon and sun.
Being a smart cookie, she then asked me what it is called when the sun moves behind the earth. I said "night, but I guess you could call it an Earthly eclipse." Now we call night time an earthly eclipse.

Nope. It looks like fun but I don't have the time to commit to another online game. Me saying my location is The Halls of Mandos is just my goofy way of saying that TurinTurambar is deceased.

ToME is not online... well, OK, there is an online version, but the main game isn't. It's a roguelike

Re: Meh... what\'s in a topic... anyway?
Yep, it's a roguelike based heavily on the works of Tolkien, and there's an option to start your character as a ghost trying to escape from the Halls of Mandos. Despite getting tons of bonuses, like increased speed, automatic detection of monsters from a long distance, and the ability to walk through walls, these Lost Souls usually die very quickly. I think it has something to do with starting at depths where ancient dragons are the least of your worries and your character is only level 1 .
