Dude, this is no Aprils fools joke. He is leaving. In fact his web site at Spaceempire.net has already been sold to another company.

I guess it was bound to happen given his comments about Space Empires V last week on IRC.

FYRON - Ya SEV with its ultra violent anti peace message just conflicts with how I now view the world.
ATROCITIES - What?
FYRON - Ya I am leaving this community and moving to a hippy camp in southern france.
ATROCITIES - What?
FYRON - I sold the se.net name to another company, some big wig software firm that wants to aquire all rights to space empires franchise.
ATROCITIES - What?
FYRON - Ya screw you all, I am going home to france!

As you can see, this is no joke. Fyron is serious as fart sniffing liberal at a methane convention.
