Animal, go ahead and take Machaka - I'll take Jotun or one of the other open ones.
Graeme : Are you handling the triple income via the map file, or will we be needing a mod that triples it? (And will resources likewise be tripled?)

I'll post the mod for income tonight. I'm not planning to triple resources, unless people think that would also be a good idea.

Seems like a good idea to me, similar to rich world doubling both resources and gold. Otherwise nations that can crank out low-resource high value troops (Vanheim for instance) have an edge over those with resource intensive troops.

i would triple resources too, could be fun (drools over posibility of producing 10 black knights/knights of the chalice/KNIGHTS TEMPLAR per turn)

If you need 1 more player for whatever map you wanted to use, I'll join. Because 8 is a more rounded number of players to have, right?
If you've got room, I'll choose a nation later this afternoon, after I get home from work, but I'm thinking Ulm, Arco or Abysia.
