Why is it a problem that this thread is stickied?  ..that game won some award, and they are happy about it...I absolutely see no problem with this.
This is Shrapnel's forum, they sticky what they want, regardless that this is the Dominions 2. board.

The problem is this forum is a Dominions forum... not the general forum or awards forum. Having a temporary sticky is fine for some other game getting an award. The voting and reward ended long long ago and has NOTHING to do with dominions. Since it has nothing to do with dominions it should be in the shrapnel general forum.
What stickys do we want appearing on the " "DOMINIONS" " forum?? A sticky for how XYZ civil war game was voted best graphics on gamespot? A sticky for how XYZ pop-music game was mentioned on a tv-show? Please moderators help draw the line in the sand.
This topic... in no way justifies to remain a sticky in this forum.

Actually its a Shrapnels forum, that they provide for free for Dominions discussions. An occassional blurb about one of their games is a minor bother compared to the kinds of popup ads we could be getting.
But you know you always have an option to have a dominions forum if you want.

As mentioned earlier an occassional/temporary sticky is fine... however this sticky event expired
long ago. If I was Illwinter I wouldn't want sticky advertisements for other games on the forums for my games... especially since it wasn't placed on all forums only our Dominions2 forum, Shrapnel General forum and the SpaceEmpires_IV forum.
Feels wrong we are one of the few forums stuck with a junky advertisement sticky which expired long ago!
