WinSPWW2 Upgraded To Version 1.1!

I'm very happy this is finally out, Great Job! Great changes and fixes. I hope this isn't too soon. But what about applying these upgrades from spww2 v.1.1 to spmbt?

there was some talk about a new spmbt upgrade a few weeks ago. whats the plan now?

I believe the plan is to upgrade WinSPMBT to the same status engine as WinSPWW2 once WinSPWW2 is declared "final" but I am sure someone will elaborate at some point.

Will installing the patch cause any problems with on going PBEMs?

Quite possibly. It will depend on the level of security you are using, Also there could be issues with the OOB depoending on what has been changed.
I suggest finishing the PBEM first.

You can also create a second installation of WW2 and patch the second one up to v1.1, leaving the first one there until you have finished your PBEM.

Of course - especally with any secure games (there are OOB and EXE changes), which is why we have always said to finish off or abandon any ongoing PBEM games before installing any patch. That is SOP for the game.

We've been saying for quite some time that there would be an upgrade of WinSPMBT after we had finished with WinSPWW2. That hasn't changed. We originally figured sometime in the fall would be likely but right now, after two back to back game releases Andy and I are taking a longer break than we had originally planned and maybe the MBT upgrade will be ready before Christmas......maybe not. When we have information we will let everyone know.

Can I install the correct patch over the incorrect patched Dl version, or I have to unistall and re-install the game all over again and then install the correct patch?

You can install the new "B" version right over the old v1.1 patch and you'll be good to go
