Pre ordering from Europe
There's a few of us who want to pre order Dom III from France & Belgium.
Now the cost rise up to close to 100 $ each copy, including shipping + credit card fee.
Is there any alternative method to pre order the game from Europe at a decent price ?

Re: Pre ordering from Europe
I preordered at this high cost from Transylvania, Romania. I think that game will be a great value anyway, but the cost may be a bit too high. I hope there will be a cheaper preorder option for DomIV.

Re: Pre ordering from Europe
We can't say with certainty which resellers will be stocking the game; those details are worked out with the resellers closer to release (meaning most resellers will wait until the game is about to ship to place their orders). Our price for shipping to France via USPS Global Priority Mail, which usually takes 4 to 7 days, is $5.00. We don't have any authorized resellers in Romania that I'm aware of.
Please contact our customer support center (there's the link at the right "support") for any specific questions you have about resellers, shipping etc. That's the best way to get a prompt, official reply.
Thanks.

Nice to see other Hungarians on the forum. [Your name is Hungarian, so you must be a "Transylvanian Hungarian I guess]

Indeed. Nice to see you too. Dom2 was a great game, I hope Dom3 will be even better.

You bet on it! Doms 3. will be the best TBS game ever, trust me, and the IW devs are especially cool, because they are visiting the forum, and listeting to their fans.
They deserve all support. Oh btw, many of my friends who bought Doms 2. gonna buy Doms 3.

Re: Pre ordering from Europe
I'm sure Dom III should be a great game, really enjoyed Dom II.
But back on topic..
Right now, the price is way too steep imo if you order from Europe.
My friends & I really hope that the game will be distributed in the old continent at a decent price.
I've never (and can't) paid this much for a PC game.

Until Dominions_3, I never pre-ordered a game 3+ months in advance and/or paid so much for a PC game, but this is no average game. I'm looking forward to seeing which of our suggestions from the wishlist made it into the game.

Re: Pre ordering from Europe
It didn't cost that much more than a regular game when I pre-ordered. At the moment, it's only slightly higher (though when you take into account shipping and card charges it's roughly the same I'd expect to pay for the latest release in a store).
Mind you, that's probably the benefit of living in the UK at the moment. We're slowly climbing to $2 to Ł1.

That high? I just checked (I live in France too), and the preorder with shipping was something like $63. If your CC is charging you $30 for a transaction, I think it's time you changed banks...
