Re: Will Dom3 be sold at retail outlets?
Tuxgames.com (linux game online-store) sells Dominions 1 and 2. and they are going to sell it Dominions 3 as well
Tuxgames
They are located in UK, so things like extra taxes to us european can be avoided.

Well I've already pre-ordered the game, just like many of my friends. I still know some people who plans to order the game after they've seen the demo. So can I say to them that they can order it from tuxgames? I mean, they will only have a linux version, or there isn't a separated Linux version of Doms 3. at all? I guess there will be only 1 master disk with Linux/Windows/Mac install files.
I just only want to tell them about the site, because they could get it much faster from the UK then from the US, if they decide that they would like to order it as well.

All three installations are one CD. There was no separate printing for Linux or Mac only.

Re: Will Dom3 be sold at retail outlets?
Yes, it'd be nice if it went to the stores, but no can do, unfortunately.
What I really want to know is what Shrapnel will eventually decide when it comes to SMS payment.
It'd allow so many more people to buy the game.

Re: Will Dom3 be sold at retail outlets?
I find it strange that other games from small developers (e.g. Sword of the stars, very nice game) hit the shelves and dominions 3 doesn't.

Re: Will Dom3 be sold at retail outlets?
I personally find retail game stores very frustrating, the shop assistants rarely know very much about anything. They are all turning into console game shops for kids and PC games are being relegated to a darker and darker corner of the shop. And buying over the internet is sooo easy and handy - Amazon is a huge success for a reason.
