I turned the names on in the main view window (the pill with an N near the starmap). Now, I can't get it to change back to
just displaying warp point names. It can have either all the names in the system on - storm, star, planet, ship, etc. or all off. Any way to restore this back to the way it was with just warp points?

You'll need to manually do this in the system display options area of Empire Options...

My local EB store did not receive the game today for sale tomorrow - So at least in my area I very much doubt that I will have the game for the weekend. There is a slight chance that if may come in tomorrow shipment.
So I am not counting on it at this time.
