Yeah. You have to change the persmissions. Do a ctrl-I for info and then modify the permissions to that you can read and right the Dominions file. |

				 Re: OS X Patch Problems
Oh... by the way, on a Mac, in window mode, I found that the game's vertical mouse placement was reversed. When the mouse cursor was near the bottom of the screen, things near the top would get selected/highlighted (if you could get it just right) and vice versa.
So, it was impossible to play in window mode. Hopefully, that will not be the case with Dom3.

Dom 2 works fine in full screen mode.

Pasha, I think that's fixed if you download a newer version of SDL... |

				 Re: OS X Patch Problems
doc folder in Dominions II main folder contains a helpful file called command_line_switches.txt . This was also posted on various troubleshooting threads.
A list of all available command line switches in Dominions II, ver 2.14
 -----------------------------------------------------------------------
 ******* Video Options *******
--badmouse Inverts y-coords in windowed mode. Cures SDL bug on Mac OS X

As you can see, workaround was added at some point.

Hey Thanks! I know nothing about SDL, but I was able to find the latest version, and it worked.
How does one use those command line switches? Are they somehow entered in Terminal?

 | I know nothing about OSX, so I can't help there. Check the troubleshoot threads, or search for that command. Someone has probably asked that exact same question before. |

So why do you need the switches when upgrading SDL worked for you? |
