Re: SE5: It\'s out and yet it\'s not
I hope SE5 is worth it, as i just ordered it from Gamestop for $99.98 (with shipping fees to Brazil), and customs taxes of another another $49.99 in a total of $149.97...
If the brazilian customs works as always, in around 3 or 4 months i will receive the game... by them i hope the patches released make it a better game than the demo...

Ouch. It will be worth it in the end, though. Keep in mind SE:IV had what, 84 or 92 patches to make it what it is today; I forget what the current version number is.
EDIT: current version is 1.95, so 95 patches...

95 VERSION numbers, not 95 patches. SE5, for example, is up to 1.06 without having a single patch released yet, and I suspect the actual patch will be 1.07 or 1.08.

Re: SE5: It\'s out and yet it\'s not
Gamestop in Lennox Center
2160 N Coit Rd
Richardson, TX 75080
(972) 699-7711
NE corner of Coit and Campbell
The people there had never heard of it, but found out about it on the computer. They talked very confidently, but I was seriously reserving judgement. It came in though, so something worked right.

Re: SE5: It\'s out and yet it\'s not
SEV arrived today from Gamestop and was waiting for me when I got home, so I can personally confirm the early release date for EB Gamestopware, Etc. It's now installed, so excuse me if I don't spend any more time on this post.

Yeppers, just got mine installed too! v1.00, and it seems to be working fine.

Re: SE5: It\'s out and yet it\'s not
Got it...
Useless Parcel Service delivered it to the wrong address & I had to hunt it down in the 'hood.
Making the first edition of my "house rules" mod now.
