Changing names of your leaders

I'm also a noob, so I could be reading this wrong. If you want to rename a commander, just right click on the commander's box and hit the "r" key. A box should pop-up and prompt you to enter the new name. Type in the name and click enter and you should be all set.

I believe it was on pg 10 in "pure awesomeness", aka the manual.
