... and don't forget that one rank in nature magic add 25 years to the lifespan of a human mage (it will even remove the "old age icon" if the mage is now under the new limit, but of course it don't remove afflictions that he already have).

Lycantroph Amulet has a per turn chance of transforming your mage into a random monster. The monster is usally not troubled by Old Age. Note that the amulet is cursed and make the wearer "gone berserk".

The spell Transformation also seems to reset a units age.

But can iirc feeblemind them. A petrify self ritual might be a nice idea but give it a chance of failing and killing the mage instantly.

It wouldn't be needed. The downside is that the mage would be petrified.
