Re: Yiikes! What happened to sim-turn type?
To my knowledge SE 4 didn't do it. Besides, that wasn't really the major issue, even if it took up most the post-space; it's the combination of these things: the loading in addition to the completely unncessary and tedious login, the very annoying camera defaulting issue, and the fact that I have to disable the 'lock system view' button and re-adjust the camera for every single turn I process.
 *PS*

I over-dramatized it on purpose, I didn't actually cry or get angry or some such *_*

Re: Yiikes! What happened to sim-turn type?
For thise I agree. If there is only one human player, and the password is null, it should auto-login. Independent of game mode really, that could be built right into the login screen.
 The camera is definitely annoying.
Better than a couple patches ago when it would always start upside down for me. (180 degree turn, so left on the galaxy map was right on the system map, oy.)

I sent him a mail about it. Hopefully not too minor a problem for him to look into. |

 | SE4 did not have formula-based data, which can most certainly change as the game situation changes (eg: there is a function you can use to get current game date...). |

But in that case wouldn't the same apply for regular sequential-turn mode too? |
