They will all rue the day...the dead came looking for the monkeys, and no one listened to their high-pitched girly-shrieks. The Agarthans called for aid, in their deep, manly, cavernous voices, but no one heeded our words. Near 500 madmen and squid stand on our borders, and no doubt thousands of dead stand on your borders, but still the others ignore us. They will regret it. When the end comes for them, they will wonder, why didn't we help Agartha? Why did we let them perish? Surely some kind neighbor will assist us, now that the hideous hordes of dead madmen slosh against our castle walls.
But those cries will not be answered, for you let all your neighbors die.
The moral of the story: the coastline of a penninsula 2 hops away from LA R'lyeh and its awake pretender is, to put it mildly, not a good starting position.

Re: Turn 14
If they are, then it is a war we know nothing about. We are merely mustering the forces who were standing idly by on Agartha's borders. No hostile action has been taken and there is no cause for alarm.
Edit: Correction! My scouts have just informed me that the vile Agarthans have launched an unprovoked sneak attack, violating the sanctity of R'lyehian soil.
We take this to be a declaration of war and will respond accordingly.

Re: Turn 14
Truly a dastardly sneak attack? The media reports from the Ulm News Network (UNN) are sketchy. Any other news?

Re: Turn 14
Yea, verily, a dastardly sneak attack of the highest order executed by thundering pachyderms.
In other news, the pathetic speck of lint known as Agartha is soon to be brushed from the face of the Earth. Their armies will be destroyed and their populace slaughtered like so many swine for a midsummer feast. Let them serve as an example to the world at large of the fate of those who would commit unprovoked aggression against the people of R'lyeh.

Apparently we of Argatha have overly anxious personalities. We found the 500 illithids and mad dreamers and ghost king on our border to be rather alarming.
The attack was not a sneak attack. Elephants do not "sneak". It was an unprovoked attack.
Given that it's that time of year again, when the universe updates the score in the great game of life, we presumed to assume that, presumably, we were about to be attacked anyway.
In summary, R'lyeh bad, Agartha good. I hope that clears everything up.

Re: Turn 14
The illithids were just passing through, the dreamers were about to be ferried away to do battle with independent forces and the ghost king was searching for magic sites (Which he found, as you can see from the gem graph). Until this vile act of Agarthan aggression, that is.
Furthermore, I daresay any open act of aggression not preceded by a formal declaration of war is to be regarded as a sneak attack.
You were in no danger of being invaded. You had no reason to fret on behalf of your precious "victory point" given the great big fort you'd built on it.
And yet, you attacked.
R'lyeh, on the other hand, has taken no hostile measures against any nation and has tried its best to maintain friendly relations with all the peoples of the world.
I must say, as primitive as your Agarthan minds are, your twisted logic is entirely beyond our comprehension.
