Noob question about magical sites

Anyone find any holy magic sites? I didn't even know holy sites existed until I accidentally searched with a priest. I have yet to find holy magic sites, so I was wondering.

Also, if there are any, are they even worth searching for?

There are some.

Some are worth finding, producing some gems (usually Astral) or allowing the recruitment of High Priests with Holy 2, which never hurts. I think some give you a free temple.

However, they are so rare that you I haven't bothered looking for holy sites. The old unholy sites, more often accompanied with death and bad things, might've changed this.

I don't know, Ancient Temple (1 S gem/month) seems somewhat common. I usually don't search for holy though because there's not a site searching spell and I find that preaching is a better use of their time, but if you're desperate for gems I guess it'd be worth it.
