SE5 demo cant play it

It should also be possible to force windows to just use one core for SE5.

I am sure that Aaron at malfador.com would like to hear from you since you are using a dual core machine. Please drop him an email about the issues you are experiencing.

Dual core machines and SE5 don't always play nicely. Start SE5, press CTRL-ALT-DEL, go to the process tab, right click on SE5.exe, select Set Affinity, and deselect one of the cores.

That fixed the crashing issues with mine, anyway.
