You can "wish" for a Seraph?!!!
So can you wish for basically any creature in the game? What about pretender titans?

Re: Short, but somewhat preoccupying questions
I tried wishing for a VQ, and it worked. It had the usual 'No commander' clause, and it's unclear if it would retain various commander-centric abilities (I plan on testing it out next time I can wish for a Lady of Springs) if Gift of Reason was cast, but it worked nonetheless.

				 Given a unique name...
You can wish for one of any monster type which has a unique name. I haven't fiddled with seeing if there's any way to get a monster by unit number.
This includes pretender types, national heroes, et al. If you wished for a Patriarch, you'd get a unit of the same type as Father Bart (assuming no other Patriarch unit exists -- haven't played around with ambiguity, either), except that he'd be a unit and you'd have to Gift of Reason him to get his magic. If you wished for a Lord of the Night, well, you'd get a new Lord of the Night.

It's not perfect. If you wished for death, you might not die.

Wait, they regain their magic if you Gift of Reason them? I guess I missed that during my test.

Hmmm. Haven't Wished for a while -- but Gift of Reason does restore magic for Tartarian Titans and Vastnesses, so unless Wish itself is clearing the magic that's attached to the unit type, it should be there.

GoR DO restores their magic, as well as all other abilities they got. I get a Fear+39(or is it 34?) PoD this way =)

Next question: I had originally a 2-in-all-rainbow mage, whose magic paths I eventually empowered all the way to 11 (Spinal Tap, anyone?).
Yet, my prophet gains no blessing effects to speak of. Does it mean, that the only blessings I'll be getting during the course of the game, are the ones I chose initially, at the pretender creation screen (e.g F9/W9)?

 | Yeah, blessings are definitively set at pretender creation. You'll like it when your blessing pretender dies early, and then comes back with reduced magic |

You will not like it when you kill your enemy's nasty F9/W9 Moloch, and his Vans still come at you with quickness and flaming weapons and ludicrous defense and attack. You will, however, learn how blessings work. |
