Two Newbie Questions: (Priest level & Assassins)

The artifact swords of justice and injustice raise priest power by one. That along with the crystal shield and communion are the only way to raise priest power.

I've had several assassination attempts made on my commanders and each time my commander disappears from the map, even when I won the battle. Is this supposed to happen or is it some sort of bug?

It's not supposed to happen. Check to see if your commander is retreating.
