Actually I have a (very) vague idea of what skype might be, and from there I might venture an ever vaguer guess of what a VOIP service might be, but boy are there many ways to guess wrong. (

Voice Over IP
Its a variation of using IMs to chat during a game, or using IRC for a public chat. You see people on tv using voip while they play shoot-em-up console games alot. It gives them basically a conference phone call. Everyone can talk on the same channel, or can just use voice to talk to each other individually.

All of these are alternatives to complaining about the "wait a turn for an answer" message system that Dominions has.
