Re: OT: Movies You Have Seen Lately
Tom Baker was my Dr. Who, although the NEW series guys are both doing a great Job, so I got the reference to 'Jelly Babies' The real question is which was the best Baker partner: Lela, Sarah, Romana I or Romana II. Romana I was probably the hottest, but I likes the Barbarian - Multi-generational ship born Lela (am I spelling her name wrong ?).

Re: OT: Movies You Have Seen Lately
I am going to stop recommending movies and TV shows. Every time I do the movie tanks. Serenity, Rocky VI, etc. WTF, am I just a curse or what?
Same thing for good tv shows: Smith, Daybreak, Firefly, The Nine, etc.

Re: OT: Movies You Have Seen Lately
Eragon was pretty good and left it open for the sequel and Rise of the Silver Surfer (Fantastic 4) looks great in the trailer for summer 07

Nah, it's just that your taste in entertainment is too refined for mass-market success.

Re: OT: Movies You Have Seen Lately
I think it was spelled 'Leela' and did you know the character on Futurama was named in her honor?
I think the first Romana was the best companion for Tom Baker's Doctor. She was another Timelord, and therefore much more competent than almost any other of The Doctor's companions. Most of them would constantly get lost not knowing what to do. The screamers & panicers were frankly annoying (although they were mainly companions of other Doctors). Not only did Romana actually know what to do most of the time, but she would poke fun at him, too. The 'second' Romana (The Honorable Lalla Ward, who is now married to scientist/author Richard Dawkins, btw...) was supposedly the same person but was written rather differently. I prefer Mary Tamm as Romana.

Re: OT: Movies You Have Seen Lately
My theory on favourite Dr Who's assistant is based on how old you were when you saw them... Tegan or Peri when I was in my mid-to-late-teens would be my favourites. Leela used to run around in a bikini most episodes (from memory) but I was only about 10 or 11 when she started so didn't really care. I preferred the dark haired Romana to the ratty one - I do remember that. Though I'm a big fan of Dawkins now so go figure.
Edit - and the ratty Romana had played a princess or somesuch in a previous episode and taken on her likeness when the hot Romana regenerated. Stupid regeneration. Should have stuck with the same face and maybe bigger boobs. Now THAT'S regeneration.

Re: OT: Movies You Have Seen Lately
I really never liked Dr. Who. Sorry man, but I just really never got into it. However I would like to see a comedy based off of the series's. Perhaps use that Bean dude or Steve Martin?
