It would be better if you could wish via the formula "monster name" "monster type" so that you could wish for Bob the Erinyi

That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying being able to wish for a specific one of the three Erinyes, instead of just "Erinyes #3".

actually I was thinking "monster 1298" would be specific enough, since each individual unit has a monster number. (and the erinye's are 1296 through 1298)
I just want the one with the really bloody dress.

Wishing for monsters via the monster number would make Wish even more of a metagaming spell. I agree that it'd be nice to be able to wish for a spesific Erinya, but IMHO it should be done via "Grudging Anger", "Unrelenting One" and "Avenger of Murder". This can be changed via a mod, because you can rename their unit type.

It would work better but I think that it wouldnt "feel" right for the game. If the monster names were made more unique maybe, but not wishing for monster 1298
