Default Re: SE V Klingon Set Ready For Use

I'm about to crash for the night but I did the Battleship as a test run. I think I have a good idea of how I want to shape this sets slots. I am looking forward to doing that Starbase. Man does it look intimidating! I think this one is going to give the Klingon set a run for its money. At this point I can't tell which is better? I guess only time and feedback from members will be able to decide!

I'm telling you, if the Klingons don't bring 'em back to SE5 the Romulans will "drive the nail in the coffin".

I need to get going on the firing points. I am just not in the mood right now. I tried to do some work on the STM (SEIV) last night, but just didn't seem interested in it.

Ship sets are what I like to do. I am still working on how to get many of my SEIV sets converted for use with SE V. I think I have a better grasp on how to do this, texturing is the issue, and I am letting my mind work on the problem in the back ground. It just gave me an idea, with an unwrap program I can lay out the pattern, excluding faces that are not seen, and combine those that are connected over a textured and colored primary sheet. Then all I would have to do is texture the faces that I want, and presto one skinned ship. The issue is, that takes a very long time to do. And learning the process is going to be a real bitc..pain.

OMG that was total Greek to me At! I do mods not shipsets. I have no idea how you manage to do them. It mystifies me how you wrap the skins in your mind, take a dull shape and transform it into a tear jerking ship. Are you going to let the STM for SE5 idea fade away. Or maybe let someone else help you... Sort of like having an employee you would be the manager...

Speaking of which I am half way through the first AI for the SFTC-Lite. The AI really isn't proving to be that difficult after all and I should be testing by this weekend. Sooner if my RL business doesn't take as long as I'm thinking. Also I am about half way done with the Romulan slots.
