Just a reminder im W98 is it still 24 bit stereo for game, like i say above when played in goldwave all is good, would you like a WAV file to see, ?

Here's the new Tank sound in WAV. Drop that into your games game date/sounds folder make sure all sounds are on and move any tank....try the M1 Abrams just so we have some consistancy. Let me know if you hear anything.
Also, I revised the procedure for the type of WAV file used in the game but cut and pasted that procedure mentioned in post #496352 from an old post. The ones used in WinSPWW2 are 8 bit stereo 22050 hz.
Also, you mention your graphics card but not your sound card. What is it?

DRG File worked fine in game no probs, great stuff, looking up now, your Q i have creative sound, sound blaster, would be about year, 99 , 2000,

Great stuff.
Interestingly enough your reported system is not that much different than mine. The difference is mines a year or so newer running an 800mhz processor and winME. Your graphics, sound and RAM all the same as my machine.
