Re: new map generator
This is a great map project. It offers features that arent in the Dom3 one, and hopefully will continue to offer more.
The generator in Dom3 can be scripted to generate a batch of maps. That way you can mess with options that are available in the command-string options but not part of the map making menu'd thing. Make an icon on your desktop and hit it when you go to bed. Or schedule it for a middle of the night run, then pick the good ones in the morning.
And the Dom2 map generator still works (DomMap.exe). It is written in C and has source code available if anyone wants to tackle updating it.
