Bugs - Another Broken Game

Ranger, I read your thread on horror, and then this one.

I don't like your way of reporting aggressivly your frustration in front of this game.

Just one advice : if you don't like it, don't play it.

Yes, this is not a perfect game, and it has bugs as all programs in the world.
But everything you've describe (except n�1) is NOT bugs. This is the way this game works. Sometimes, you get horror marked, and this is very bad. Sometimes, you win battles and all your troops are destroyed in the way.

This game is NOT a simple game, designed for the gamers who likes wins all the times and so fells to be powerfull.

I like to PLAY, not to WIN. And for playing, this is one of the major game in the world. I got challenge, difficulties, and must think, try, lose, be destroyed and so on to find a way of winning a game, and sometimes, I don't : I awfully lose ... And I like it.

If don't like to lose, don't play Dom3, or play against AI at 'dumb level'. But I don't see the point in it, because I doubt you will have fun.

My reaction can be a little rude, but I won't apologize because you're very too much offensive in your way of 'communicating' on this forum.

You don't like Dom3 ? Very well : don't play it, and don't complain here.

Ranger, I had a look at all your posts to find the other problematic savegame with Empowerment that you described. I believe that you are trying to empower your pretender god? That works just fine, but you only got enough earth gems to empower her, for the rest it says "not enough gems", like it should. So, I didn't have any problems with it, if you do, then try to make a screenshot so that others can understand what you are talking about.

All the other things that you have reported so far (in addition to the above: something about province defense, and you reported that Navigators can't go underwater, but since they only have the sailing ability that's correct) are not bugs but only show that you haven't understood something correctly. It would help if you don't suspect a bug every time but ask what you may have lacked to understand so others don't regard your posting style as aggressive.

While I think Ranger may be overracting in designating games as 'broken' simply because of a single issue I also think that a few of the reactions here have been a little harsh. It can be really frustrating to have something bad happen out of the blue in a game - I've had some horrible moments in FM2005 & FM2007 that made me pretty teed off at the game designers for a bit.
It's easy to post a quick angry post when in a bad mood. This can happen to everyone. Personally, this is the only forum I actually post on, but if you look at my posts I'm sure you'll find a few here where you can tell I wasn't too happy at the time. I can understand Ranger's frustrations, but I'm sure he'll recover from them and we'll see lots of productive posts from him in the future

I finally come back from what I said, and I apologize for being rude myself with you, Ranger ...

Ich said it all. Simply ask calmy your questions, and you will have a lot of very userfull and smarts answers. Believe me. I got much advices reading this forum.

This game ins't perfect, but it is REALLY A GREAT GAME. Continue to play and when you will masterd its internal logic & mecanic, you'll have a lot of fun !
