Almost everything made out of Al is actually an alloy, because pure Al doesn't have good properties for making stuff. Alloying it affects its melting point. I read this on Wikipedia, so it must be true. (Notice how I cleverly avoided the spelling controversy, and saved lots of ink and bytes.)

So the Alloy would be mixing AI with knowledge of player locations, map triggers/waypoints, preassembled build plans, foreknowledge of the tech tree...
