Ugh, Mom dropped in completely unannounced yesterday afternoon and is staying the week. I couldn't do my turn I'm very disappointed that I had to stale my first turn

Missing the first turn in a game like this isnt as bad as it might be in another game. You already have your starting provs and you can easily catch up in troop production due to all the gold and resources. The key loss is not getting to build a mage and do your research. The research is really rough given that we all have sages.

That said it is really disappointing to see someone stale in thier first turn of the game

Unfortunately I was already at work. I'll be ok from now on, just the completely unexpected dropping by of my mom completely killed all my plans for one day.

You cannot launch attacks this turn.

You have to wait until the next turn generates, then you can begin fighting.
