When trying to download the new turn my game crashes (nagot gick fell), with the message: 'got bad package from server'
I'm computer illiterate, so I'm willing to listen to any suggestions.

Just keep trying over and over again. Eventually it will download. |

Yes, I have had to try to download upto 6 or so times.
I assumed it was because you are hosting the game on a older machine or have a slow internet connection but that's just a guess. Like Amhazair I am not very tech orientated, Gandalf Parker seems to be the helpful tech person around here in case you want to ask him. |

Since the turn ran with several people stalling because they couldnt connect, I restored the backup copy which gets saved right before the hosting.
Even if you think you have done this turn, go ahead and check it.

Better a server with a changing IP than no server at all as far as I'm concerned.
It's not like anyone is dying because he can't submit his turn for a little while. (I think - never underestimate the powers of addiction, obviously)
